“This song is an absolute energy boost! I had so much fun creating it with Taneisha and Lewis, and really couldn’t wait to release it to the world. Every time I hit play on “Hula Hoop” I immediately have to just get up and dance, and this is what I love the most about this tune. Although the lyrics are about jealousy and troubles I sometimes have to go through with my peers, I wanted the song to be punchy but also feel kinda positive. Summer is finally coming, and as we start getting some sunlight and warmth, I want everyone to just enjoy their life and get dancing no matter what people do or say!”-Sara James
